I’ve been a member for over a year, and have found that Wealthy Affiliate is unlike most other internet marketing forums for a number of reasons.
The main part of Wealthy Affiliate is of course it’s forum. The forum is very active, around a few hundred posts a day. It’s almost required to check a few times a day if you’re interested in a particular thread.
At the center of the forum is the great people who post often. Led by Kyle and Carson, and centering often on Travis of Bum Marketing. There are numerous posters who lead the discussions. TerryB, Thadroe, DaveB, C. etc. These talented and experienced posters provide awesome insight into the world of affiliate marketing.
Wealthy Affiliate started up as mainly a forum, but has since changed into something else. A complete internet marketing workshop. One of the new features that has been added in the past year, is that Wealthy Affiliate now offers free hosting for any of your websites.
One of the most exciting additions to Wealthy Affiliate is their Site Rubix tool, which is a very neat website creation tool. You can create a detailed website in minutes using simple drag and drop interfaces. You don’t have to know HTML, or PHP or anything else, almost anyone can create a fully functional website in minutes. And combined with the free hosting, this truly is an awesome addition to Wealthy affiliate.
Wealthy Affiliate offers free video tutorials, and many levels of internet marketing tutorials, from the abject beginner to an internet marketer who has been around the block once or twice, there is a tutorial or three available for you. Most people start with the 8 week course.
They had a great $500 challenge section, where people came up with their best ideas, and the winner was given $500. It was a great month, with lots of creative ideas. And definitely worth looking into.
Kyle and Carson, the founders of Wealthy Affiliate also offer one on one tutoring. In the form of private messages on the forum. You can message them, and within 24 hours they will respond to any question you might have. I’ve personally found the ability to run a campaign by a seasoned internet marketing pro to be very beneficial. In more than one instance, with the help of Carson I’ve resurrected a bad campaign, and turned it into a profitable one.
