Modeling. Find a business that is already having the success you are looking for and model what they are doing.
It’s too simple right? In fact it really is.
Use an Internet marketing strategy to get where you want to go by piggy backing on the success of others. You definitely never want to copy a business word for word. Don’t copy the website, logos, business materials etc. You’ll get in a lot of trouble for that. But copying an idea is perfectly legal in most cases and you would be foolish not to take what’s already successful and add it to your own Internet marketing strategy.
I’ll reiterate that thought. Don’t try to be original and reinvent the wheel and everything else for that matter. If something works, use it. Better yet take an already successful idea and use your creativity and improve on it. It’s done every day. Let me give you an example of modeling in the entertainment business. All the other shows on the different networks have the exact same format except for the theme and the title. If you picked them apart you would see little difference in the elements of the show. If we dissected each show they would be pretty close to the same, but different enough for the other networks no to get sued.
All of the networks have seen the outstanding success of this show and they also want to ride its success. They follow the successful plan with their own theme. They are not going to waste a lot of money on a plan that might flop.
So find a business with the success you want and find out everything that is working for that particular business and do it yourself. Learn Internet marketing from a money making business. But again remember you can’t copy a business exactly without getting yourself in trouble. It’s not only illegal, but this will ruin your credibility and business.
Let me give you some examples of modeling.
One example is to offer a bonus when you are selling your own product or even as an affiliate. If you observe that the person you are modeling does this and because of it he or she makes a lot of sales, then it would be great to also do it. Just make sure that it fits well with your main product and it is a quality bonus.

Another business concept is to build a prospect and or customer list. If you do your research you will find that this list of prospects is a major source of income. It takes a lot of time and money to find a prospect and retain a customer. Repeat business is your stability and if you don’t do it, don’t expect to have long term success.
Take a proven successful business model and learn Internet marketing the right way by promoting a completely different product or service in another niche. You can always compete with the same people if you want to, but I would rather have the best opportunity and the least amount of competition.
You can be the one that has the upper hand on your competition. So many people coming online are just not going to put forth the effort to find out what really works. If you learn Internet marketing from the already successful, you will have the advantage over 95% of those online.
