If you have ever gone shopping in the local stores for a swimming suit I’m sure you have found the same things I have. Mostly they sell plus size suits that look like they were made to fit your grandmother rather than a sensuous woman with a few extra curves. Fortunately in the past few years the companies that make swim wear have realized how important it is to provide sexy swim wear for plus size women. Although my experience has taught me that most brick and mortar stores still carry a very limited selection of plus size swim wear, there are lots of options online. Any woman can easily find swim wear online that not only makes you look sexy but also as cosmo as a well designed brazillian g-string might.
Consider a few things before you decide on which plus size swimming suit you want to purchase. Think about the size, fit and cut of the suit beforehand.
Always make sure whatever you get it is what fits you properly. Normal every day clothes usually run a size or two smaller than swim wear so bear that in mind. Another important thing to consider is that many swim wear stores don’t allow returns for sanitary reasons. So if your shopping online make sure the store provides a good detailed sizing chart. That way your sure to find one that fits you perfectly. If the online store you are shopping doesn’t have a good sizing chart, find another store! It is also a good idea to check the stores return policies. Some swimwear store will allow you to return a suit for a different size as long as the suit is returned with tags attached and in the orignal shipping packaging.
When thinking about the cut of the swimming suit you want to consider what your looking for. Style, comfort and amount of coverage need to be at the top of your list. You may find a two piece suit as and example that looks really nice on the ‘almost plus size’ model but that doesn’t mean it will look great on you. Consider a tankini or tank bikini maybe if your interested in a two piece suit. Or a really sexy and trendy one piece might work well.
