Why Paid Emails Don’t Pay

Anyone looking to make money online has probably come across paid emails. These programs became extremely popular a few years ago. Here is how paid email programs work. A site owner offers clients hits to their website. In turn, you receive the emails in your inbox. You click on the link in the email and wait for the timer to run out. Then you are credited with points or cash. Once your account reaches a certain balance, you are paid. Most sites pay once a month on a net 15 or net 30 bases.

The amount you are credited depends on the advertiser. For example if the advertiser bought 200 solo emails for $2, you would receive a tenth of a cent. The average paid email is worth from a tenth of a cent to two cents.  A few programs pay three cents or more but it is rare to find a legit site that pays over a penny. You may also be paid for other tasks like filling out offers and viewing paid to click ads.

I signed up for several of these programs thinking it would make me extra money. In my experience, I found more frauds than anything of programs promising big payouts. I concluded paid emails are a waste of time.

If I clicked on 20 ads a day for a half-cent, it only adds up to a whopping ten cents a day. At the end of the month, I would only have $3. Sometimes, you may get less making earning more difficult.

The fifty-dollar payouts are almost impossible to reach. Even with a twenty -dollar payout. It would take several months. The reason payouts are high is that the owner hopes you will give up meaning they keep all the ad revenue for themselves. Another problem with paid emails is your account can be deleted for no reason Again; the site owner keeps all your hard-earned money.

They use other deceptive tactic to earn money like selling personal information increasing your risk of Spam in your inbox. When you click on the links, you risk tracking cookies being installed on your computer. Tracking cookies allow advertisers to display annoying pop-ups and redirect your searches.

I am not saying all paid email sites are bad. Many honest webmasters pay members. If you decide to join one, don‘t expect to make a living. Read the privacy policy before signing up and use a different email address so you will not be spammed. Check on GPT forums to make sure the program is not a fraud.
