Window Box Popularity Soaring With Real Estate Agents

Real estate agents and builders are using window boxes as a secret weapon to help sell homes. Window boxes are a cost-effective way to add curb appeal to the home to get home buyers excited about it before they even step foot in the door. Real estate agents love how they add a unique selling feature to a home that helps get them off the market fast.

Real estate in the united states is a trillion dollar industry and every real estate agents job is to sell homes.  Every real estate agent also wants the best looking homes to sell at the best selling price possible.  Real estate agents will often focus on selling homes that meet this criteria and offer the best potential to move off the market and make a quick sell.  One secret weapon in the arsenal that real estate agents love is the window box.  Window boxes add curb appeal to a home and add a unique selling feature that will set the home apart from the competition.  Builders love window boxes too, because they are an affordable way to add curb appeal to a home and make it more attractive to potential home buyers.  The golden rule has never been more true even during the 2008 housing recession: spend a little bit of money to make a lot of money.

Wooden window boxes can be purchased in the $50 - $250 price range and often just a couple of these will make a dramatic change to the face of a home.  No rot window boxes have become more affordable and competitive in pricing with wooden ones and add an additional selling feature as a no rot product that lasts 20-30 years.  PVC window boxes look like wood and can be painted, plus they don’t have any of the maintenance issues of wooden window boxes.  These upgraded window boxes usually cost around $70 - $350, but last virtually forever.  Rarely is it a bad move to put money into the outside of a home.  The money you can make back just by getting it off the market quicker is almost always worth the investment.  Realtors love it when they get compliments on a home before the potential home buyer walks in.

Window box planters are an affordable secret weapon that builders are using in a buyers market and real estate agents love them too.  It’s a good way to add landscaping that puts permanent value in a home and it’s such a rarity, that you will set a house apart immediately in a good way.  Home buyers always consider the selling points of a home and will remember the unique selling features that make a home appealing to them.  Sometimes this is price or location and other times its the quality of the home itself that matters.  When you can add a house to your list of potential homes and it has something unique to it that people remember, then you have an edge over the competition and a winning strategy in real estate.
