Listen very carefully because this document can help to bring about profound change in your life, if that's what you're looking for. I don't pretend to be a psychologist or anything like that but I do have a gut feeling that the tactics that I've used to impact my mind positively can also help you experience the same results.

Saturate your mind with positive images, attitudes and pictures. Discriminate against all negative thoughts that can deflect you from your goal. Do not allow negative input to take root. The Apostle Paul once said, “take every thought captive and make it obedient” You must be extremely careful about the thoughts that you allow to begin to take root in the fertile soil of your mind.
It is of the utmost importance that you guard the information that flows into to your mind. This information inputs are either fertilizer that will take you closer to your goals or poison that kill your ambition. If this input is inconsistent with your greater good then I suggest you make a decision to stop dwelling on thoughts that don’t match your goals. You may even need to consider new friends or associates if your current ones have negative mindsets.
Here are some of the best books that I can recommend you add to your collection: 1. The Bible. Good mind food even if you’re not a believer. 2. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. A timeless classic. 3. Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. An absolute must. 4. The Success System that Never Fails by W. Clement Stone.
This list could go on and on and on. There are thousands of books that would be beneficial to you. These four are some excellent starting points.
You absolutely must treat your mind like a very delicate flower. Your subconscious will believe and act upon any suggestion you allow it to receive. You are driven by the subconscious mind whether you like it or not. Try these disciplines for yourself...I KNOW they work. Every time.
