What is network marketing?

When you buy a product from a person you become a link in their chain and you can also start selling the products and earn your commission. The people you sell to can also become sellers and they earn their commission and every time they sell you as a secondary marketer gets your percentage of commission too. This way the link is formed and a huge chain is made. People who have been involved with this multi level marketing are multi millionaires today.

There are three important tips that make network marketing successful. You must first convince people that you can change their life. People are hesitant to take initiative. So motivate and encourage them to join the network for marketing. Secondly touch them emotionally, in the heart.  Thirdly they must know that you are there to take their life to a whole new level.

Network marketing is also referred to as “emotional marketing”, because you touch the heart of the buyer and make him your seller. That is all you need to do in network marketing, to get people moving towards you, then with you. Sentiment is what that draws them towards you.  In network marketing, people are attracted to a strong feeling of the heart, and that is what touches the person, and their heart.

Convince the individual that there is change for a better lifestyle, better prospects and better future. Network marketing is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. This is serious business and people involved in it are dedicated to their product in an organized way. Network marketing is all about leverage. You can take control of your time and increase your working hours, on which you can be paid by sponsoring other people and earning a small income on their efforts. J. Paul Getty, who created one of the world’s greatest fortunes, said “I would rather make 1 percent on the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent on my own efforts.” This very basic concept is the cornerstone of network marketing.

Network marketing can be a home based business. There is no expense on office space or furniture or manpower. Since your customers turn into sellers they in turn bring other customers who turn into sellers.  This can all be conducted from your home. They can invite friends and neighbors for a get together and show them the products. This approach is called word of mouth.  Also people will either rent a hotel room or restaurant meeting room and give demonstrations of their products and have testimonial meetings.  This way you can gather a lot of people at one time to present the information. 

For network marketing, there are no capital expenses, no geographical limitations, no minimum quotas required and no special education or skills needed. Network marketing is a low cost, home-based business that can actually offer many tax benefits for self employed persons. Network marketing is a personal business where the business expands your circle of friends.  After all its people who make this world go around, isn’t it?
