3. The owner is truly passionate about the business.
4. You’re good at finding the ideal staff and developing a team that works well.
5. You are alright with stepping away from running the business.
6. The owner doesn’t work all the time.
7. Marketing is job one, and it’s your life.
Do you see how most of these involve you the owner? And they don’t involve ineffective branding or image-building campaigns. So stop what your doing, take a breath and ask yourself “How did I come up with these beliefs about doing business?”
Taking a look at yourself is the first step to growing a real Internet business. One that will make you money for a long time to come.
It’s easy to just buy every product many online businesses want to sell you. But these expensive boxes of nothing won’t get you where you want to go. Because they were made by people that have been no more successful than you. You’d just be learning from someone that had no clue about building a real business.
Let me share a secret with you… Most of these “so-called” gurus are not experts. They just repackage other people’s products (commonly known as a knock-off.) Sure they make good money, but it’s short-lived. These guys make a quick-buck and then they’re back to copying some other crappy product, in hopes that some sucker will come along and buy it.
