Exercise For Your Kid's Health

Kids exercise all the time without even thinking of it. Just being active, like when they run around outside or play kickball at school, is a kind of exercise. Health- conscious parents want to help their children build a strong body that will last them a lifetime. Regular exercise can also help boost your child's immune system.

Kids exercise all the time without even thinking of it. Just being active, like when they run around outside or play kickball at school, is a kind of exercise.  Health- conscious parents want to help their children build a strong body that will last them a lifetime.  Regular exercise can also help boost your child’s immune system.

Kids exercise all the time without even thinking of it. For them, exercise means playing and being physically active.  They exercise during gym class at school, soccer practice, or dance class.  They’re also exercising when they’re at recess, riding bikes, or playing tag.

As a health-conscious parent, it is not just about “exercise” but also about boosting your child’s immune system.  It is also about an opportunity to bond and share in the joy being with your kids’ peers.  During family sports, you can also look to ensure your children are exhibiting traits of team work and healthy competition.

Exercise is not only fun but it also generates mental benefits that last all day long. 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic exercise is minimal for a healthy child.  Remember that exercise relieves stress and promotes a “tiredness” that is an antecedent to a good night’s sleep.  Exercise also generates mood-stabilizing serotonin within the brain, producing a feeling of wellbeing and mental stability.

So for all you health-conscious parents, be cool-exercise with your kids.  After all, it creates a stronger bond with your children and is also good for you!
