Their payment is probably in the form of advertisements being run on all of your pages. If you are planning to run a serious business oriented website then at least pay a few dollars each month for your hosting so that you can control what advertising, if any, runs on your website.
And inexpensive website then will serve you well. All you are looking for at first is something that will cover the basics. It is not likely that you will be looking for the additional high and capabilities until you have had some more experience in developing websites and running Internet businesses.
