They Say Ohio Is "Mother Of Presidents"
"Mother of Presidents" - is the nick name of Ohio, as it comes second only after Virginia that provided USA, with amicably elected Presidents.
Initially a Spanish explorer visited Oklahoma in 1541 in quest of Gold. Many other Europeans followed leading to many wars and treaties. Tribes had to give up their lands with the expansion of the western world.
In the earlier times half the eastern side of this state used to be under-water. Many sea creatures used to inhabit it. The British established two colonies here in 1580, but were unsuccessful. Later many people immigrated from Virginia to this land naming it "Carolina." It sometimes joined the union and some times the confederates, ultimately joining the US in 1868.
A very famous New York building, Empire State Building that ascends a quarter of a mile from the ground and is considered a National Historic Landmark that has been visited by billions of visitors till date.
Indian tribes inhabited New Mexico until the Spanish arrived with arms and horses. In 1610 New Mexico made its capitol at Santa Fe. They were too enthusiastic in building an economic tribute system resulting in a bloody revolt by the native Indians of Santa Cruz de la Canada (near Espanola) and so many settlers fled to south.
North Dakota, USA Is A Must Visit State
The land that is called North Dakota used to be inhabited by people who did farming and hunting for their livelihood. The horse came to this land in the 18th century, making hunting a little easier.
Lenni Lenape Indians lived here before Europeans came. A Dutch colony was established in 1624 and in 1638, a Swedish colony settled along Delaware River, which was reclaimed by the Dutch in 1655 and then in 1664 the British took over.

English people came here and started fish and fur businesses until the war of the revolution. English Captain John Mason landed here, started the various constructions, and named it New Hampshire as he belonged to Hampshire county of England.
What A Lovely Place Is Nebraska State
Many native Indians used to live here thousands of years ago. They grew crops and hunted the buffalo to meet their daily necessities. The first white men got here around 1700 and started exploring the state and traveled Westwards. More white men followed and started trading with the Indians.

Brief Look At Historic Michigan State
The French were exploring a great river called 'Mississippi' by the local Indian tribes and in 1679 they built a Fort which was built in present day St. Joseph in Michigan and was the first non-Indian community to settle in the Lower Peninsula. The French settled there permanently and started trading until 1753 when British Forces defeated them in a bloody war, the French and Indian war (1754 to 1763).
Before the French arrived in Minnesota in late 1600s, Indian tribes (Dakota) stayed here with stone houses and stone weapons. The French came and started trade with the Indians.
At Black Panther Historic Shipwreck Preserve, a German submarine was sunk by the US Navy in Potomac River. This site became Maryland's historic preserve in 1994. Dans Mountain State Park is a day use park only. It has many peaks and presents spectacular & scenic sights of the surrounding areas. Dans rock has a big peak of 2898 feet above the sea level.
